CAPITAL 676 was the first ‘real time’ flight deck video made available to the general public. It has now been digitally re-mastered for superb quality and re-released on DVD.
CAPITAL 676 filmed in 1990 shows from the cockpit, a complete flight of a Capital Airlines BAe 146 airliner (G-OSUN), on a typical journey from Dublin to London Luton. The DVD shows in unedited form, every moment of the flight from before engine start to after engine shut down and includes conversations between the Captain and First Officer and Air Traffic Control. Follow in ‘real time’ all flight
procedures including reading of instruments, navigation aids,
clearances and localiser approach to Luton.
A collectors DVD, as Capital Airlines ceased operation in 1991. Capital Airlines was a UK regional airline, operating a fleet of BAe 146 jets and Shorts 360's based at Leeds Bradford Airport.
